Conversion rates to buy software

Hi why does 29.95 US dollars convert to 33.95 Australian when the exchange rate is 1.00 US = 1.00 AUS

Hi,

Yes, the exchange rate is currently 1 for 1. However, we are charged a currency conversion fee to convert AUD back to US dollars. Additionally, the credit card companies/PayPal charge us a higher transaction fee for any order outside of the US. These fees are automatically added to any order that requires currency conversion.

It may be possible to reduce these fees by purchasing AudioLabel in US dollars, and then letting your credit card company or PayPal charge you the conversion fee back to Australian dollars (which might be cheaper). If you call your credit card company, you can find out what fees they charge for transactions in US dollars.
