Importing a track list from Windows Media Player

Postby BobG65 » Mon Jan 28, 2013 9:45 am

Hello, This is my first visit to this Forum so be gentle with me please.

I downloaded AudioLabel last Friday and have found it does everything I want and more, except I can’t find a way to import a track list from either Windows Media Player (Windows 7 Pro') or the file list in the music library folder. I am converting Cassette and Vinyl to MP3 files and would like to save some of them to CD format (not MP3). Is there a way to "paste" the track info - track title and number as a minimum - without having to type the data in?

Any help will be much appreciated

Hi Bob,

Currently AudioLabel cannot import track lists from Windows Media Player. The best option is to copy and paste each track individually into the "Track List" fields of the "Text Editor" on the left hand side of AudioLabel.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Nicole,

Thanks for your swift response. I used the suggested method, it saves some time and is even better if the existing list eliments are deleted first. I can't see the point in filling the title box with data that is bound to be useless to the user.

Cheers
