I am using the HP DVD-R lightscribe 1.2 disks there is already an ugly color on disk why did the colors I picked for lightscribe not print to my disk? Where do I get the disks that is lightscribe and it dose not have any color on it? Hope someone will help me and understand my question thanks!

Hi,

The LightScribe process can only print in gray-scale (with no color), and the image is laser-etched on the disc without the use of ink. However, the LightScribe discs come in 6 different background colors (gold, blue, green, orange, yellow, and red).

If you want to print discs in full color, then you need special inkjet printable discs, and an inkjet printer that accepts discs. Many of the new printers by Canon, Epson, HP, and Brother have a tray or slot on the printer where you can insert a disc for printing. AudioLabel is compatible with all of the inkjet printers.

Here's a link to more information on inkjet printing discs.
