I’ll try my best to help. First, this error is created by the LightScribe System Software
, and is separate from AudioLabel.
I did a Google search for ' LightScribe “runtime error” ' and came up with a bunch of results. It seems that this problem been around since at least 2007, and there is no one solution that works for everyone.
Please make sure the drivers for your External Pioneer USB LightScribe drive are up to date.
Here's a link from a person who fixed the problem by replacing the LightScribe Drive itself (not the best solution, but it worked). This kind of suggests that problem lies with the hardware drivers: http://club.myce.com/f34/lightscribe-help-c-runtime-error-sh-s223l-299339/
Here’s a link from another person that suggests the problem can be fixed simply by waiting for the LightScribe media to be fully detected before clicking the LightScribe “Print” button.http://www.eosun.org/forum/showthread.php?t=72570
It’s also possible that problem could be fixed by installing an older version of the LightScribe System Software version 220.127.116.11 (First uninstall version 18.104.22.168).http://lightscribe-system-software.en.softonic.com/
And finally, reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libraries might fix the problem; although, this is probably a long shot.http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3387Please note:
These are just ideas, and are not guaranteed to work at all ( I don’t want to send anyone on a wild goose chase).
However, if you do fix the problem please post back to the forum so others can be helped out.
