Another customer just recently wrote us about the same Norton problem (I’m assuming you have the “WS.Reputation.1” warning). I double checked our software with MacAfee and Kaspersky anti-virus software, and both reporting no viruses. The Norton software is reporting a false positive.
Here is some more information on “WS.Reputation.1”, which indicates that a file has a low reputation, but is not a virus:http://www.ghacks.net/2012/06/25/how-to-bypass-symantecs-ws-reputation-1-system/
I have since submitted a “False Positive” report to Norton using the link below:https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/
Hopefully you can submit the same report, or maybe submit a report directly from your Norton software.
1. What version of Norton are you using?
2. Are you using the latest database updates for Norton?
