How to darken or thicken fold lines or border lines?

Can someone please tell me how to darken or thicken the fold lines or border lines? I had no problem printing the fold lines with my former HP Inkjet. The fold lines printed by my new Canon laser printer are so light that it is difficult to see them. Thanks for your help.
